Air travel to Fredericton airport is via Montreal Trudeau International Airport or Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airline servicing Fredericton which links with other international carriers (Star Alliance) is Air Canada. For schedule information go to the Air Canada website, www.aircanada.com. There are also flights between Fredericton and Toronto via Porter Airlines but connections with incoming international flights are less convenient.

If you are willing to drive, there are flights to Halifax, Nova Scotia (400 km drive to Fredericton) or Moncton, New Brunswick (180 km drive to Fredericton) which can be explored (but are less convenient).

For people coming from the United States, another possibility is to fly to Bangor, Maine (https://flybangor.com/passenger-information/airlines/ ) and rent a car and drive to Fredericton from there (this requires passing through customs at Houlton, Maine). The travel distance is 300 km.

The Fredericton airport is ~15 minutes from downtown Fredericton. There are typically taxis waiting when flights arrive (~$30 CAD to travel to Fredericton) but it may be necessary to contact a company directly. Cars can also be rented at the airport.
